Loved the overlays, easy set up
These are super cute and high quality! They're a gift for my friend, I can't wait to put them on her car! I love the set I got for my Crosstrek, they look so cool!
These look stunning on our black Subaru Outback. I was glad I went with the matte although I think the shiny would've looked just as good. I like how the matte absorbs light instead of reflecting it. I feel it makes the product features more easily visible under direct sunlight or at night & adds a higher quality look in my opinion.
Make sure to apply using the wet application method as it makes it much easier to move the vinyl once it's been placed. I found these very easy to put on and they look amazing. I love how the black so closely matched the color of the car's exterior. It almost looks like a custom light rather than a vinyl. TIP: make sure all the accents are firmly stuck to the transfer film before you peel it off the sheet (this goes for when you remove the vinyl/transfer layer from the sheet AND when you remove the clear transfer sheet post to installation). I'd wait a little bit to remove the transfer tape just to make sure everything is dry and well set. If a piece of the design peels up don't panic! Get the area wet again (and your fingers) and gently peel it away, then apply pressure to the design to make sure it sticks to the reflector the way you intended. It also helps to thoroughly massage the bubbles out before attempting to remove the transfer film. Overall I found the process quick and easy. I am very satisfied with my purchase and found the customer service to be exemplary.
I had the best experience! I contacted Accentrek Designs to see if the decal for the 2015-2020 outback would fit my 2010 outback. She quickly replied and said she is in the process of finalizing decals that will fit my year. She created a custom order so that I wouldn't have to wait for the product to become public and shipped it the next day. Besides her excellent customer service, the product is amazing! I LOVE how it looks and it is very high quality. I couldn't be happier.
It adds so much character to my Outback and it looks sooo nice! Amazing quality and applying it wasn't too hard for it being my first time applying an overlay! I have gotten many compliments on it as well :)
